What a wonderful evening for our latest 100 Women gathering! Our members came together once again for a night filled with connection, generosity, and incredible organizations doing meaningful work throughout our community.

The evening's venue was the perfect setting for our gathering. The space was modern, clean, and comfortable, with plenty of room for our growing group. Chef Kyle and the team did an amazing job on the delicious food, and, of course, the craft cocktails were a wonderful addition to the evening!

Impact Grant Awarded – $15,000

We are incredibly proud to announce that our $15,000 Impact Grant was awarded to Foster Angels of South Texas.

Foster Angels provides hope, support, and someone to count on for children and families navigating the foster care system. Their work helps provide the care, resources, and encouragement that so many children need during circumstances no child should have to experience.

Their mission is a beautiful reminder of the things many of us take for granted—the security of having someone there, someone who believes in you, and someone you can count on. We are honored to support Foster Angels and the important work they do to ensure children in our community know they are not alone.

Action Award – $650

Cast for Kids received a $650 Action Award, and their presentation truly stayed with us.

Their speaker had a wonderful way of making everyone in the room feel welcome—almost like sitting at home with a friend you had known forever. As she shared the stories of the children they serve, it was easy to understand the powerful sense of belonging their events can provide.

For these kids, getting out on the water, catching a fish—big or small—and having people cheering them on creates something much bigger than a fishing experience. It gives them a place to belong, a reason to smile, and a memory where they feel supported and celebrated.

We are grateful for the work Cast for Kids is doing to create those moments.

Action Award – $650

Navy League of Corpus Christi also received a $650 Action Award.

We were inspired by their passionate speaker and his commitment to giving back to the community. His dedication continues to center around serving others and strengthening the community he calls home.

The Navy League supports young people dedicated to a life of service while also helping create opportunities for connection, family, and community. Their work includes holiday events, youth scouting activities, and programs that help young people and families build relationships and feel connected.

We are grateful for their continued service and for the many ways they invest in the next generation and our community.

The Power of 100 Women

Another meeting, another reminder of why this group exists.

Our members continue to show up with open hearts, ready to listen, learn, give, and connect. They come from different backgrounds, different professions, and different walks of life, but they share a common desire to make our community better.

This meeting was a beautiful example of that collective generosity. $16,300 was awarded to three incredible organizations, supporting children in foster care, creating meaningful experiences for kids, and strengthening opportunities for young people and families connected to our military community.

We are so grateful for every woman who makes 100 Women what it is.
