Meet Kristen

Kristen is a dynamic & creative strategist who, over the past decade, has built her career in brand marketing, product development, event planning and social media. She is the Founder of The Dusty Olive, a Marketing, Events & Virtual Assistance company, and holds a BA in Journalism/PR from California State University, Northridge. She also serves on the board of the Port Aransas Police Foundation.

Since moving back to Corpus Christi a few years ago, Kristen has sought out new ways to give back to her community. When a conversation started about bringing 100 Women of the Coastal Bend to life, there was no hesitation, and turns out, it’s exactly what she was seeking! “I am so excited about 100 Women of the Coastal Bend and the impact we, collectively, will make in our seaside community. I am passionate about lending a helping hand to those in need and I look forward to being a small part of a sisterhood that makes a really big difference in the lives of others.”

Born and raised in Southern California, Kristen now resides on beautiful North Padre Island with her husband of 12 years, two children, and two pups.

She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling & exploring new places, beach glass hunting, a lazy day the beach, and a good DIY project.
